“ I like this place and the food is usually great. Jennifer wasn’t our server, but she stood out with excellent customer service and a warm smile. This visit was a bit disappointing though — I paid 4 extra for sauce, but my meal barely had any. It felt like they just put what should’ve come with the meal into an 8oz cup and called it extra. I also ordered pink lemonade but got Pepsi instead. I didn’t mind and rolled with it, but overall, this visit felt off compared to my previous experiences. I put 5 stars because I don’t like giving bad reviews. ”
“ I went to hook and Reek on Telegraph Road on Thursday April 17th. With my mom, sister and nieces. It was my sisters birthday. And I must say that we had a great experience. Food was very good, but which made our experience even better was having JAMEERA taking care of our table. She had a very welcoming, positive and professional attitude, she was always checking if we needed anything, she made fantastic suggestions about the menu. Then she brought a very nice dessert for my sister. I live in Canada and I am a travel agent. I really value a good service, I wish all the restaurants have someone like JAMEERA. I can recommend this restaurant for the delicious food, but also because JAMEERA will be there giving you the best service posible. ”

“ Everything was awesome. Great food, great service, great atmosphere. We came around 6:30 on a Thursday and there was no wait at all, fast service. The portions were huge! We shared the "Perfect Storm" boil, and we got garlic butter but we asked them to add old bay also. It was amazing!! Everything was super fresh and fast, the two different kinds of fries and fried flounder were all extra hot and crispy, not like they'd been sitting out at all. Our server (Chacarra, I believe?) was very friendly and helpful! She recommended extra sauce for the crab meat fries and she was right! She gave us some extra sauce to go. I loved it and my sister said she definitely wants to go back for her birthday :) there's not many options for great seafood in this area, so we're happy you're here. Will definitely recommend to my friends! ”
